How it work

Let's design

your customized program

Partnering with BV Study Abroad is simple

With BV Study Abroad, you are teaming up with over 15 years experience in the international education field. As educators, we believe in the importance of connecting the program activities with the curriculum. That is why, in addition to taking care of all logistics, we develop programmes customized to meet your course objectives.

As a partner, we will visit your campus to meet you, your colleagues, and your students. The idea is to stimulate students before the trip, so that they can take an active role in the learning process.

We also find that meeting with you and your students before the program gives us a chance to talk about your curriculum objectives, to design the best possible program, and to get everyone on-board.

What are the next steps?

Let's Meet

Contact us to set up a meeting by phone or Skype to discuss your objectives. Once we have agreed on a program, a representative of BV Study Abroad will visit your campus to meet with faculty and international office coordinators.

We Co-Create

A programme coordinator will work closely with the faculty or international office coordinator to customize the programme. The programme will not be considered complete until you sign off on it. BV Study Abroad will work with experts and suppliers at the chosen destination to suit your course goals and to maximise the cultural aspects of the destination.

Experience your programme

For your first trip, a BV Study Abroad respresentative will visit your campus to meet students and faculty before departure. Once at destination, the group will have 24/7 local support with BV facilitors.

What partners have said

Testimonials

Through my professional career I have partnered with numerous organisations to send students for abroad curricular experiences. I have to say that Patrick Hurley and BV Study Abroad have been the most dedicated, professional, and accommodating. Through our partnership, they have worked closely with our administration and faculty members to ensure an annual experience that not only meets, but exceeds our expectations.

Owen Hooper Director, Accelerated Summer and Intersession Academic Programs Innovative Education, University of South Florida

As Canada is America’s largest trading partner, it is important to provide our students with a program to learn about our neighbour, to experience its culture, and to develop relationships for future opportunities. Under Patrick’s professionalism, dedication and coordination, student satisfaction has consistently been very high.

We brought students to Quebec City for 10 days in July to work on their start-up projects with local entrepreneurs. It was an incredible, hands-on experience both academically as well as culturally. The students learned so much about Quebec City’s vibrant culture and its entrepreneurial spirit.

Educational

Partnership

As educators, we believe in the importance of connecting the tour activities with the classroom curriculum. That is why we develop educational material, in addition to organizing the tours’ logistics. Keeping in mind the vision of Atlantic Canada’s social studies curriculum, our educational units are designed to prepare students for their upcoming tour through meaningful and insightful activities. The idea is to stimulate students before the trip, so that they can take an active role in the learning process. We want them to feel engaged and set the foundation on which to build during the trip.

We also find it most exciting to meet with you and your students at the start of the year and bring history to life in an interactive presentation. This in-class presentation gives us a chance to meet with you, to talk about your curriculum objectives, to design the best itinerary possible and to get everyone on-board.
